LSBF Round 13 (Regular Season): Tipitapa defeat Jaguares

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Jaguares (9-4) in Managua on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by Tipitapa (9-4) 84-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Jaguares. It was a key game for the top position in the league. At the losing side Jamaican swingman Antoinette Bannister (178-1993, college: ECU) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Leonas maintains fourth place with 4-9 record. UNI lost their eighth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost.
