Very significant was Jaguares' (#3, 10-6) victory against second-ranked Real Esteli (10-6) 78-69. American guard Brittany Byrd (176-1997, college: UIC) stepped up and scored 32 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and her fellow American import swingman DAsia Chambers (182-1992, college: Slippery Rock) chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Jade Compton (178, college: Presbyterian) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jaguares moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Real Esteli. LSBF top team - Tipitapa (12-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked UNI (3-13) 88-59. Canadian guard Tiffany Reynolds (175, college: Lakehead) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and Shannen Peralta accounted for 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Tipitapa's coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Jamaican swingman Antoinette Bannister (178-1993, college: ECU) came up with 25 points for UNI in the defeat. Tipitapa have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-4 record. UNI at the other side stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost.

Tipitapa dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to UNI's 30. Tipitapa forced 19 UNI turnovers and outrebounded them 55-36 including 18 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by UNI's players. Canadian guard Tiffany Reynolds (175, college: Lakehead) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and the former international forward Shannen Peralta (-2003) accounted for 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists.
