Gordon's 47-point game gives him Player of the Week award

22-year old power forward Antonio Gordon (206-PF-2001) had an amazing evening in the last round for Tigres and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 26.
He had the game-high 47 points adding five rebounds and four assists for Tigres in his team's victory, helping them to beat Rivas (#10, 2-19) 99-91. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Tigres is placed at 9th position in Nicaraguan league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 18 games and recorded just three victories. In the team's last game Gordon had a remarkable 53.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Tigres' top player in his first season with the team. Antonio Gordon averages this season 35.5ppg and 6.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Felix Ramos (PF-2003) of Rivas. He is a forward in his first season at Rivas. In the last game Ramos recorded impressive double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Rivas lost that game 91-99 to slightly higher-ranked Tigres (#9, 3-18). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Rivas dropped in the standings to very bottom position. 19 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Rivas managed to get this year. Ramos is a newcomer at Rivas and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Tigres' star - Emmanuel Calderon (198-SF-1998). Calderon showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in the last round. He was another key player of Tigres, helping his team with a 99-91 win against slightly lower-ranked Rivas (#10, 2-19). Tigres can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-18 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Calderon has a very solid season. In 21 games in Nicaragua he scored 16.3ppg. He also has 4.2rpg and 3.6apg.
