Brower's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

27-year old American forward Jayson Brower (195-F-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 32.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Tigres (#9, 3-24) 79-73. UNI Basket maintains the 7th position in Nicaraguan league. UNI Basket is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 9-18 record. In the team's last game Brower had a remarkable 53.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be UNI Basket's top player in his first season with the team. Jayson Brower averages this season 16.8ppg and 7.1rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Antonio Gordon (206-PF-2001) of Tigres de Chinandega. He is American-Puerto Rican forward in his first season at Tigres. In the last game Gordon recorded impressive 39 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Tigres lost that game 73-79 to slightly higher-ranked UNI Basket (#7, 9-18). Tigres managed to keep the same 9th spot in the standings. 24 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Tigres managed to get this year. Gordon is a newcomer at Tigres and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Jasiel Perez of Real Esteli (#3). Perez showcased his all-around game by recording 12 points, ten rebounds and twelve assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Real Esteli, leading his team to a 133-67 easy win against the lower-ranked Rivas (#10, 2-25). Real Esteli needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 21 victories and 6 lost games. Perez has a great season in Nicaragua. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.5ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 7.0rpg (#1 in league).
