Brumas shot 62.1 percent from the field. Brumas had a 29-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by UNI Basket's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American Timothy Simmons (195-1992, college: DBU) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. The former international Kevin Andino (186-2002) contributed with 27 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Brumas players scored in double figures. American forward Tyler Morman (206-1997, college: Southern Miss) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and American-Puerto Rican guard Robert Nieves (186-1999, college: Graceland) added 23 points, 6 assists and 4 steals in the effort for UNI Basket. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

It was a very good performance for Jasiel Perez who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American-Puerto Rican Christopher Gaston (201-1989, college: Fordham) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Real Esteli's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Argentinian forward Rodrigo Sanchez (200-1989) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and James Jones added 20 points and 4 assists in the effort for Jaguares. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Caribbean Coast dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Indigenas' 40. They outrebounded Indigenas 40-29 including a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-1998, college: PR-Mayaguez) fired 35 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Puerto Rican power forward Owens Perez (206-1992) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 18 rebounds. Canadian swingman Zekiah Owens (197-1998, college: AIC) produced 32 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and American guard Tylan Dean (185-1999, college: Rogers St.) added 22 points and 4 steals (made all of his eight free throws) respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
