Hernandez number one in Nicaraguan TBN for round 2 (by Hoops Agents)

Angel Hernandez put on an amazing game in the last round for UNAN de Managua, receiving a Hoops Agents TBN Player of the Week award for round 2.
The player had a double-double of 30 points and 20 rebounds, while his team beat La Libertad (#17, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 83-71. Thanks to this victory UNAN de moved-up to the 7th position in Nicaraguan TBN. But it's just the very beginning of the season and UNAN de won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Hernandez had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at UNAN de and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Angel Hernandez has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 19.5ppg), rebounds (4th best: 14.0rpg) and averages impressive 3.0bpg and 57.1% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Carlos Guillen (F-1991) of Super-Santiago de Carazo. Guillen had a very good evening with a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Carazo to another comfortable win 105-88 over Leon (0-2) being unquestionably team leader. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Guillen is one of the most experienced players at Carazo and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.0ppg (#5). He also registered 10.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Dalton Cacho (200-PF-1993) of league's top team Brumas de Jinotega. Cacho scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Brumas, leading his team to a 87-73 easy win against Caribbean Coast (#11, 1-1). Brumas has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Cacho also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Cacho has a great season in Nicaragua. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.5ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 15.5rpg (3rd best).
