UNAN de (2-1) recorded a loss in Managua on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by San Isidro (2-2) 62-60. 25 personal fouls committed by UNAN de helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Esmilder Rojas (187-1985) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Dwight Real (-1997) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Tipitapa beat Leones in Managua 80-62. Winless Alcaldia Alma lost to undefeated Real Esteli at home 59-79. Bonanza unfortunately lost to Jass on the opponent's court 49-59. Winless Indigenas recorded a loss to Carazo in a home game 58-74. Tigres defeated Caribbean Coast on the road 47-42. Winless Leon was beaten by Leones on its own court 65-74. Hurricane lost to undefeated Tipitapa in Managua 73-95.

Alcaldia Alma - UNAN de M. 43-98

There was no surprise in Managua where Alcaldia Alma (0-5) was crushed by UNAN de (2-1) 98-43 on Wednesday. UNAN de held Alcaldia Alma to an opponent 23.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.6 percent accuracy of the winners.
