Experienced International Power forward Dalton Cacho (200-PF-1993) had an amazing evening in the last round for Brumas de Jinotega and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents TBN Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 30-year old power forward had a double-double of 19 points and 16 rebounds, while his team crushed Carazo (#12, 3-3) with 24-point margin 93-69. Brumas is placed at 7th position in Nicaraguan TBN. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Brumas already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Cacho had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Brumas and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Cacho has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 22.0ppg), assists (4th best: 5.0apg) and averages solid 2.3spg and 62.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was forward Norvin Mairena (F) of Bonanza. Mairena impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 37 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Bonanza lost that game 79-88 to the higher-ranked San Isidro (#2, 5-2). This loss caused Bonanza to drop to 17th position in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Bonanza managed to get this year. Mairena is one of the most experienced players at Bonanza and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.4ppg (#8). He also registered 10.2 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was international guard Kevin Andino (186-SG-2002) of top-ranked Jaguares de la UAM. Andino scored 22 points. He was a key player of Jaguares, leading his team to a 76-56 easy win against the lower-ranked Caribbean Coast (#18, 1-3). Jaguares have amazing season winning all 7 games without a single defeat. Andino turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Andino has a very solid season. In 5 games in Nicaragua he scored 18.0ppg.
