Best players of Nicaraguan TBN round 10

Carlos Valdivia had a very impressive game in the last round for Leon and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents TBN Player of the Week award for round 10.
The had a double-double of 36 points and 14 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Bonanza (#18, 3-8) 89-120. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Leon maintains the 21th position in Nicaraguan TBN. They are still not able to win a single game in the league yet. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Leon have already lost 12 games and recorded no victories. In the team's last game Valdivia had a remarkable 56.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Leon, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Valdivia has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 29.8ppg. Valdivia is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 11.2rpg) and averages solid 56.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Jaymar Hodgson of Alcaldia Alma. Hodgson impressed basketball fans with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Alcaldia Alma lost that game 58-98 to league's leader Tipitapa (#2, 10-0). Alcaldia Alma is still in a red zone at 20th spot in the standings. 12 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Alcaldia Alma managed to get this year. Hodgson is one of the most experienced players at Alcaldia Alma and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was international guard David Toruno (G-1992) of Sebaco (#5). Toruno scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Sebaco, leading his team to a 81-60 easy win against the lower-ranked Carazo (#11, 5-6). Sebaco is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 8-2 record is not that bad... Toruno has a great season in Nicaragua. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.7ppg (2nd best). He also has 3.0spg and a FGP of 54.2%.
