Campbell number one in Nicaraguan TBN for round 12 (by Hoops Agents)

International Jensen Campbell (198-C/F-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Real Esteli, receiving a Hoops Agents TBN Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 28 points and 15 rebounds, while his team crushed Hurricane (#18, 4-11) with 23-point margin 91-68. Real Esteli is placed at 6th position in Nicaraguan TBN. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Real Esteli will need more victories to improve their 10-4 record. In the team's last game Campbell had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Real Esteli, through which he has constantly improved. Jensen Campbell averages this season 21.0ppg and 10.3rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Johnston Huerta (2001) of Indigenas de Matagalpa. Huerta had a very good evening with 40 points and 3 assists. Of course Indigenas cruised to a 97-86 relatively comfortable win over Leon (#21, 0-16). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Indigenas dropped in the standings to 13th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-8 record. Huerta is a newcomer at Indigenas, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Carlos Valdivia of Leon (#21). Valdivia scored 28 points and grabbed 19 rebounds (!!!). Despite Valdivia's great performance the Leon lost 86-97 to the higher-ranked Indigenas (#13, 7-8). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Leon can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 16 games. Valdivia has individually a great season in Nicaragua. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.2ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 11.8rpg (5th best).
