Best players of Nicaraguan TBN round 13

International Jensen Campbell (198-C/F-1998) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Real Esteli and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents TBN Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 25-year old had the game-high 22 points adding seven rebounds and five assists for Real Esteli in his team's victory, helping them to beat Caribbean Coast (#12, 7-5) 88-79. Real Esteli is placed at 4th position in Nicaraguan TBN. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Real Esteli will need more victories to improve their 11-4 record. In the team's last game Campbell had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Real Esteli, through which he has constantly improved. Jensen Campbell averages this season 21.1ppg, 9.9rpg and 4.1apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Angel Fernandez (2004) of UNAN de Managua. The third best performed player last round was another UNAN de M.'s star - Elgin Mejia (C/F-2001). Mejia showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. He was another key player of UNAN de Managua, helping his team with a 96-87 win against the lower-ranked Sur Rivas (#19, 3-10). The chances of UNAN de ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 9 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Mejia could help UNAN de M. to bring them higher in the standings. Mejia has a very solid season. In 13 games in Nicaragua he scored 15.8ppg.
