The round was exceptionally exciting as five games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Seventh-ranked Real Esteli (11-7) made lots of trouble for second ranked Tipitapa (17-1) in Managua on Saturday. Tipitapa managed to secure only one-point victory 80-79. However their fans expected much easier game. Tipitapa forced 23 Real Esteli turnovers. Strangely Real Esteli outrebounded Tipitapa 54-41 including a 41-30 advantage in defensive rebounds. 29 personal fouls committed by Real Esteli helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Lesly Serrano (-2005) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Alfredo Borge (188-1992) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. The former international power forward Jensen Campbell (198-1998) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tipitapa have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Brumas. Real Esteli lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with seven games lost.
Bottom-ranked Leon (0-20) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 161-56 loss to third ranked Jaguares (15-3) in Leon. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Mario Garcia (182-2000) who helped to win the game recording 70 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Lesther Castillo contributed with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Sur Rivas unfortunately lost to Bonanza in a home game 78-80. Tigres recorded a loss to San Judas on the road 68-77. Carazo was defeated by San Isidro on its own court 75-77. Indigenas were smashed by UNAN de in Leon 89-59. Carazo won against San Judas at home 79-77. Tipitapa managed to outperform Sebaco on the opponent's court 82-72. Hurricane recorded a loss to Bonanza in a home game 88-92. Sur Rivas were crushed by Tigres on the road 119-79.
The best stats of 16th round was 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists by Hector Rodriguez of Tigres.

There was no surprise in Managua where 15th ranked Hurricane (6-13) was defeated by fourth ranked UNAN de (15-4) 85-69 on Saturday. UNAN de dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Hurricane's 38. They outrebounded Hurricane 57-39 including a 44-33 advantage in defensive rebounds. UNAN de looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Vansdell Thomas (185-1986) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international Walter Diaz (179-1989) who added 12 points and 6 assists during the contest.
