Indias de Miranda (SLBF) strengthened their roster with addition of 20-year old Nicaraguan international forward Shannen Peralta. Peralta played recently at Tipitapa in Nicaraguan LSBF.
She also represented Nicaragua at the FIBA Central American Women's Championship in El Salvador last year. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 16.6ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.6apg, FGP: 39.0%, 3PT: 23.5%, FT: 58.1%.
Peralta has played previously professionally also in Mexico (Quetzales and Rojas) and Nicaragua (Real Esteli). She won Nicaraguan League championship title in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Despite young age she had impressive career. Peralta was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Nicaraguan LSBF Honorable Mention back in 2021.
