Tipitapa dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to San Isidro's 42. They outrebounded San Isidro 57-31 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tipitapa looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Colombian center Chyse Webster (204-2000) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Roger Munoz (208-1984, college: Trinity Valley) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) during the contest. Esmilder Rojas (187-1985) responded with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international Dwight Real (-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 assists. Four San Isidro players scored in double figures.

The former international Dalton Cacho (200-1993) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Juan Herrera (187-1996) contributed with 17 points for the winners. The former international power forward Jensen Campbell (198-1998) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds and Anfearnnee Flemings added 13 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Real Esteli. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Jaguares forced 33 Carazo turnovers and outrebounded them 46-24 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Jaguares looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. International Kevin Andino (186-2002) scored 24 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Troy Watson (197-1982) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Jaguares players scored in double figures. Forward Carlos Guillen (-1991) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Ervin Morgan (193-1986) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
