Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Jaguares defeated Costa Caribe in Managua 75-71. It was a great evening for American Milik Yarbrough (198-1995, college: Illinois St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized American guard Peter Martinez (177-1996, college: William Pater.) helped adding 17 points. The best for the losing side was Puerto Rican guard Jorge Matos (185-1992) with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
UNI Basket (2-1) recorded a loss in Leon. Visitors were rolled over by UNAN de (2-1) 106-67. It was an exceptional evening for Dominican Xavier dela Rosa (196-1991) who led the winners and scored 29 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Sharlon Hodgson accounted for 11 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Dominican Francisco Alvarez came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 19 rebounds for UNI Basket in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
Quite upsetting was Leones' 34-point home defeat in a game versus Brumas who smashed hosts The best player for the winners was Antonio Gordon who scored 28 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Deondre Wade who recorded 21 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

In the last game of round 3 Real Esteli destroyed Indigenas on the opponent's court 85-53.




Indigenas - Real Esteli 53-85

Very expected game in Matagalpa where Indigenas (0-2) were crushed by Real Esteli (3-0) 85-53 on Saturday. Real Esteli dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Indigenas' 28. Real Esteli forced 19 Indigenas turnovers and outrebounded them 55-40 including 37 on the offensive glass. Real Esteli looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Bartel Lopez (213-1989) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international center Andy Perez (200-1999) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Tylan Tylan (185-1999, college: Rogers St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and the former international guard David Toruno (-1992) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Five Real Esteli and four Indigenas players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
