Best players of Nicaraguan LSB round 10

American-Puerto Rican Antonio Gordon (206-SF -2001) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's second-best Brumas de Jinotega and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 23-year old had a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed Real Esteli (#5, 6-6) with 19-point margin 78-59. Brumas is placed at 2nd position in Nicaraguan LSB. They are still close to the very top. Brumas would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 9-2 record. In the team's last game Gordon had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Brumas' top player in his first season with the team. Oklahoma Christian University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Gordon is in league's top in points (2nd best: 23.4ppg), rebounds (5th best: 9.4rpg), assists (6th best: 4.6apg) and averages solid 1.6bpg,2.3spg and 66.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Dominican Rep. center Jose Familia (201-C-1998) of UNAN de Leon. Familia impressed basketball fans with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Of course he led UNAN de to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Indigenas (#8, 2-11) 95-73. UNAN de's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 9-3 record is not bad at all. Familia is well-known by UNAN de fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Brumas' star - American Goree Venable-Gonzalez (201-F). Venable-Gonzalez scored 27 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was another key player of Brumas de Jinotega, helping his team with a 78-59 easy win against the lower-ranked Real Esteli (#5, 6-6). Brumas is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 9-2 record is not that bad... Venable-Gonzalez has a very solid season. In 3 games in Nicaragua he scored 19.3ppg.
