Best players of Nicaraguan LSB round 19 (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced Naturalized Puerto Rican Jared Ruiz (188-SF-1992, agency: BMS Sport Agency) had a great game in the last round for Real Esteli and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 32-year old had the game-high 38 points adding seven rebounds and six assists for Real Esteli in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Leones (#7, 6-14) with 33-point margin 120-87. Real Esteli maintains the 5th position in Nicaraguan LSB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Real Esteli will need more victories to improve their 13-9 record. In the team's last game Ruiz had a remarkable twelve three-pointers out of 14 attempts. He turned to be Real Esteli's top player in his first season with the team. Jared Ruiz averages this season 29.2ppg, 7.2rpg and 7.4apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American Glenn Sanabria (180-PG -1996) of Brumas de Jinotega. Sanabria impressed basketball fans with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course he led Brumas to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked UNI Basket (#9, 2-20) 119-57. This victory allowed Brumas to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 15-5 record is not bad at all. Sanabria is a newcomer at Brumas and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.2ppg (#9). His other stats are also decent: 4.4rpg and 7.1apg.

The third best performed player last round was Puerto Rican Eliel Gonzalez (188-G-1995) of Leones ALMA de Managua (#7). Gonzalez showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists in the last round. Despite Gonzalez's great performance the Leones lost 87-120 to slightly higher-ranked Real Esteli (#5, 13-9). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Leones not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 14 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Gonzalez could try to bring Leones' a little bit higher in the standings. Gonzalez has individually a great season in Nicaragua. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.5ppg (6th best) and assists with 5.3apg (2nd best).
