Jaguares dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Tipitapa's 46. Jaguares looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-1984) stepped up and scored 47 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds for the winners and American guard Destiny Pitts (178-1999, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 7 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. At the losing side Canadian guard Tiffany Reynolds (175, college: Lakehead) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international forward Shannen Peralta (-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. Four Tipitapa players scored in double figures.
