TBN Round 10 (Regular Season): Bonanza edge Brumas by three points

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of round 10 in the TBN took place in Puerto Cabezas. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked Brumas (8-3) to tenth ranked Bonanza (5-2) 78-75 on Saturday evening. Bonanza have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Brumas at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Managua: UAM Univ. (#6) and UNAN de M. (#7). UAM Univ. (7-2) won against visiting UNAN de M. (5-4) 74-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of UNAN de M.. UAM Univ. have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Jaguares and Tipitapa. UNAN de at the other side dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with Sur Rivas.
Undefeated leader Tigres delivered the ninth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 14th ranked La Libertad (3-5) 103-82 in Juigalpa. Undefeated Tigres (9-0) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 9 victories in a row. Loser La Libertad keeps the fourteenth place with five games lost. They share the position with Sebaco.

Rest of the games of round 10 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Tipitapa crushed Nicaragua U16 in Managua 95-31. Jaguares smashed Leon at home 120-48. San Isidro destroyed Jass on the opponent's court 86-41. Academia PLAV managed to outperform Indigenas in a home game 54-48. Leones recorded a loss to Americas 2 on the road 74-69. Sebaco crushed Real Esteli on its own court 96-62.



Nicaragua U16 - Tipitapa 31-95

There was no surprise in Managua where bottom-ranked Nicaragua U16 (0-8) was crushed by sixth ranked Tipitapa (7-2) 95-31 on Friday. Tipitapa moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Jaguares and UAM Univ. Loser Nicaragua U16 still closes the standings with eight games lost. They share the position with Leon.

UAM Univ. - UNAN de M. 74-61

Rather predictable result in Managua where eleventh ranked Academia PLAV (5-5) beat 15th ranked Indigenas (3-6) 54-48 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Academia PLAV moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Leones. Loser Indigenas dropped to the sixteenth position with six games lost.

Undefeated leader Tigres delivered the ninth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 14th ranked La Libertad (3-5) 103-82 in Juigalpa.
