TBN Round 13 (Regular Season): Tigres lose to Tipitapa

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The biggest surprise took place in Managua where host Tipitapa (10-2) beat league's leader Tigres (10-1) 81-65 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Tigres. Tipitapa have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 10-2 record behind leader San Isidro. Tigres at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by San Isidro.
Bottom-ranked Leon (0-11) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 103-91 loss to eighteenth ranked Hurricane (3-9) in Leon. Hurricane maintains eighteenth place with 3-9 record. Leon at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost.
The game in Managua was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Brumas (8-4) played at the court of sixth ranked UAM Univ. (8-3). UAM Univ. defeated Brumas 79-67 on Sunday. UAM Univ. moved-up to fifth place. Loser Brumas dropped to the sixth position with four games lost.

Other games of round 13 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Americas 2 defeated Real Esteli in Managua 71-57. Sebaco beat La Trinidad at home 70-61. San Isidro destroyed Academia PLAV on the opponent's court 101-72. UNAN de managed to outperform Leones in a home game 65-63. La Libertad rolled over Jass on the road 84-61.



Real Esteli - Americas 2 57-71

There was no surprise when 17th ranked Real Esteli (4-8) was defeated at home by thirteenth ranked Americas 2 (5-6) 71-57 on Sunday. Americas 2 have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Real Esteli lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with eight games lost.

UAM Univ. - Brumas 79-67
