Boulet's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

41-year old Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-C-1984) had an amazing evening in the last round for Jaguares UAM Managua and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
She had a double-double of 34 points and 12 rebounds, while her team beat Real Esteli (#1, 5-2) 79-69. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Jaguares maintains the 3rd position in Nicaraguan LSBF. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Jaguares will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. Boulet turned to be Jaguares' top player in her first season with the team.

Second best performed player last round was Anyia Pride (185-C-1998, agency: Ladies 1st) of league's second-best Nicaragua Femenil. She is American center in her first season at Nicaragua Femenil. In the last game Pride recorded an impressive double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. Of course she led Nicaragua Femenil to another comfortable win outscoring Leonas (#4, 0-7) 87-63. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Nicaragua Femenil consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Pride is a newcomer at Nicaragua Femenil and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Nicaragua Femenil's star - guard Laisha Hooker (PG-2006). Hooker scored 21 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. She was another key player of Nicaragua Femenil, helping her team with a 85-52 easy win against #4 ranked Leonas. Hooker has a great season in Nicaragua. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.4ppg (4th best), rebounds with 6.6rpg (8th best) and assists with 4.3apg (3rd best). She also has 3.9spg and a FGP of 60.0%.
