Boulet's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

41-year old Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-C-1984) had a great game in the last round for Jaguares UAM Managua and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
She had a double-double of 23 points and 18 rebounds, while her team crushed Nicaragua Femenil (#2, 8-4) with 24-point margin 85-61. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Thanks to this victory Jaguares moved-up to the 3rd position in Nicaraguan LSBF. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Jaguares will need more victories to improve their 7-5 record. Boulet turned to be Jaguares' top player in her first season with the team. Boulet has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 17.8ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 10.8rpg) and averages solid 50.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Kimberly Taylor of top-ranked Real Esteli. She is Mexican in her first season at Real Esteli. In the last game Taylor recorded an impressive double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Of course she led Real Esteli to another comfortable win 65-51 over slightly lower-ranked Jaguares (#3, 7-5) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Real Esteli consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. Her team has currently 10-3 record. Taylor is a newcomer at Real Esteli and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Jaguares' star - forward Mariah Miller (182-F-1998). Miller showcased her all-around game by recording 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. She was another key player of Jaguares UAM Managua, helping her team with a 85-61 easy win against #2 ranked Nicaragua Femenil. Jaguares needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 5 lost games. Miller has a great season in Nicaragua. After 12 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.4ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 11.3rpg (#1 in league).
