Boulet number one in Nicaragua LSBF for round 10

Cuban Center Yayma Boulet (193-C-1984) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Jaguares UAM Managua, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 41-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 20 rebounds, while her team edged out Nicaragua Femenil (#3, 8-7) 71-69. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Jaguares maintains the 2nd position in Nicaraguan LSBF. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Jaguares will need more victories to improve their 10-5 record. Boulet turned to be Jaguares' top player in her first season with the team. Yayma Boulet has solid league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 19.8ppg and leads league in rebounds with 11.3rpg. Boulet is in league's top in and averages impressive 50.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Jade Compton (178-F-1998) of league's leader Real Esteli. Compton had a very good evening with 29 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Real Esteli to edge slightly lower-ranked Nicaragua Femenil (#3, 8-7) 78-74. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Real Esteli consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. Her team lost just three games this season, while they won 12 matches. Compton is a newcomer at Real Esteli, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was center Shenisha Julio (C-2007) of Nicaragua Femenil (#3). Julio scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Julio's great performance the Nicaragua Femenil lost 74-78 to #1 ranked Real Esteli. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Julio has a very solid season. In 11 games in Nicaragua she scored 4.9ppg.

9. Shaneel Antonio (F-1969) of Jaguares - 9 points and 7 rebounds
10. Jenny Salomon (189-C-1991) of Real Esteli - 13 points and 7 rebounds
