The standout American forward Glen Rice Jr was named the Player of the Year of the championship-winning champion team Flecheros de Matagalpa. He graduated from the Georgia Tech thirteen years ago. Rice Jr received multiple other awards, was voted the Finals MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year, Forward of the Year, and was selected to the First Team, Imports Team and Defensive Team. His excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Jaguares 3 to 2 in the final series. Rice Jr averaged almost 19 points and over 8 rebounds per game in the league. He has totalled 8 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 6 games on the year. Rice Jr's 27 points against the Jaguares were the most he scored in the 2025 season. 7 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges. Luis Lopez, 27-year old Puerto Rican guard from the finalist team Jaguares de la UAM, was selected as the Guard of the Year at the Liga Superior de Baloncesto. He Is PR Mayaguez alumni from 2018. Lopez collected multiple other honors, was chosen to the First Team and Imports Team and Defensive Team. With Lopez's excellent performance, the finalist team Jaguares de la UAM achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 16 to 2 in the regular season. His best performance made his team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by Flecheros 2 to 3. Lopez was the Player of the Week honoree three times during the 25 campaign. He showcased his talent by ranking second in points per game with an average of 24 and third in assists per game with an average of almost 7. Lopez has totalled 17 games of 20 or more points on the year and registered 30 or more points in 7 games. He had double-doubles in 4 games at the event. Lopez's 63 points against Real Esteli were the most he scored in the 2025 season. 7 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges. Ewing also earned a spot in the Imports Team. His excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Jaguares 3 to 2 in the final series. Ewing received Player of the Week award in the league. He recorded almost 16 points and over 8 rebounds per game that season in the league. Ewing has totalled 8 games of 20 or more points and logged double-doubles in 9 games on the year. His 27 points against the Tigres were the most he scored in the 2025 season. Jorge Matos, Puerto Rican guard from the Costa Caribe Managua, was voted to the First Team of Liga Superior de Baloncesto. He was also selected to the Imports Team. Matos orchestrated his way to the third spot in rebounds per game, showcasing a dazzling average of over 9. He led the LSB in points per game with almost 30. Matos has totalled 16 games of 20 or more points on the year and registered 30 or more points in 7 games. He notched double-doubles in 6 games at the event. Matos' 41 points against Real Esteli were the most he scored in the 2025 season. 7 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges. Among many awards he was selected to the Latinbasket All-Nicaraguan Second Team between 2019 and 2024. He was also selected as the Latinbasket All-Nicaraguan League Honorable Mention back in 2020. Matos was selected as the Nicaraguan LSB All-Star Game between 2019 and 2020. Davon Jefferson, 39-year old American forward from the Real Esteli, was chosen to the First Team at the Liga Superior de Baloncesto. He Is alumni of the Southern California from 2008. Jefferson recorded almost 15 points per game over the season in the league. He led the LSB in rebounds per game with over 10. Jefferson has totalled 3 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 10 games on the year. His 21 points against the Brumas were the most he scored in the 2025 season. Among many awards he was selected to the Latinbasket All-Basketball Champions League Americas Second Team back in 2022. He was also selected as the Eurobasket All-Italian Serie A Honorable Mention back in 2020.
