Best players of Nicaraguan TBN round 3

International Forward Troy Andrews (196-F-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Americas 2 and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents TBN Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 23 points and 18 rebounds, while his team outclassed Frente (#10, 2-2) with 43-point margin 94-51. Americas 2 maintains the 8th position in Nicaraguan TBN. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Americas 2 will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Andrews had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Americas 2, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Andrews has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 19.7ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 13.3rpg) and averages solid 2.7bpg and 71.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Elijah Allen of Leones ALMA de Managua. Allen impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led Leones to another comfortable win outscoring UNAN de M. (0-4) 92-60. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 3 games without any defeat. Allen is one of the most experienced players at Leones and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Danny Padilla of Pescadores del Caribe Norte (#12). Padilla got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds . Despite Padilla's great performance the Pescadores lost 67-92 to Flecheros (#1, 3-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Pescadores needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Padilla has a great season in Nicaragua. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.3ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 10.8rpg (9th best).
