Mullins number one in Nicaraguan TBN for round 5 (by Hoops Agents)

Forward Herman Mullins (F-2003) had a very impressive game in the last round for Brumas de Jinotega, receiving a Hoops Agents TBN Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 22-year old player had a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds, while his team outclassed La Trinidad (#13, 2-3) with 33-point margin 95-62. Brumas maintains the 5th position in Nicaraguan TBN. They are still close to the very top. Brumas would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. In the team's last game Mullins had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He just recently signed at Brumas, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Herman Mullins has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 17.6ppg) and averages impressive 3.0spg and 68.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Farrell Pauth (F-1999) of Real Esteli. Pauth had a very good evening with 21 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course he led Real Esteli to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Frente (#9, 3-3) 129-63. Real Esteli's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 4 matches. Pauth is well-known at Real Esteli and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was Australian guard Joel Wagner (181-G-1987) of Leon (#17). Wagner scored 26 points. He was a key player of Leon, leading his team to a 75-58 easy win against the lower-ranked San Isidro (#20, 1-4). The chances of Leon not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 4 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Wagner could try to bring Leon's a little bit higher in the standings. Wagner has a very solid season. In 5 games in Nicaragua he scored 14.6ppg.
