Sierra's 29 points and 8 rebounds give him TBN Player of the Week award

19-year old Rodrigo Sierra (182-SF-2006) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Jaguares de la UAM and receives a Hoops Agents TBN Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had the game-high 29 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Jaguares in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Nicaragua U16 (#22, 0-8) with 75-point margin 127-52. Jaguares is placed at 3rd position in Nicaraguan TBN. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Jaguares keeps a perfect 7-0 record. In the team's last game Sierra had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Jaguares, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Rodrigo Sierra averages this season 14.3ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Troy Andrews (196-F-2000) of Americas 2. He is international forward in his first season at Americas 2. In the last game Andrews recorded an impressive double-double of 25 points and 18 rebounds. Bad luck as Americas 2 lost that game 57-90 to the higher-ranked Brumas (#5, 6-1). This loss caused Americas 2 to drop to 10th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-4 record.
