Former international Wilson Batista (190-SF-2003) had a very impressive game in the last round for Real Esteli and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents TBN Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 22-year old had a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Americas 2 (#9, 5-5) 79-72. Real Esteli maintains the 6th position in Nicaraguan TBN. They are still close to the very top. Real Esteli would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 8-1 record. In the team's last game Batista had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Real Esteli, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Batista has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.9ppg), assists (9th best: 4.4apg) and averages solid 2.4spg,72.5% FGP and 52.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Ariel Fedrick of Pescadores del Caribe Norte. Fedrick impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led Pescadores to another comfortable win 102-85 over the higher-ranked Frente (#13, 3-6) being unquestionably team leader. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Pescadores dropped in the standings to 16th position. 9 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Pescadores managed to get this year. Fedrick is one of the most experienced players at Pescadores and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Roberto Sirias of Mineros de la Libertad (#14). Sirias showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Sirias' great performance the La Libertad lost 76-92 to the higher-ranked La Trinidad (#8, 5-4). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of La Libertad not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 6 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Sirias could try to bring La Libertad's a little bit higher in the standings. Sirias has a very solid season. In 3 games in Nicaragua he scored 14.7ppg.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
