CJ Rodriguez signs with Capitanes de Mexico

Panamanian Combo Guard CJ Rodriguez (188-G-94, college: S.Nazarene) signs with Capitanes Ciudad de Mexico and will become the third panamanian to play this season with the Mexican team, he will be replacing the injured Rigoberto Mendoza (190-G-92) until he recovers and will be able to play.

Rodriguez can help them with scoring in differents ways, outside shooting, slashing to the basket and getting to the foul line. He is an average defender and has a good court vision when he plays the point.

He played with Deportivo Viedma Rio Negro in the second division of Argentina last year and with Caballos de Cocle Aguadulce where he posted 15 games: 15.7ppg, 5.8rpg, 6.7apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 40.9%, 3FGP: 33.0%, FT: 76.5%. He also played with the Panama National Team on the last Fiba World Cup Qualifiers.
