Caballos land Alejandro Grant

Defending champion Caballos de Cocle Aguadulce (LPB) landed 27-year old swingman Alejandro Grant (199cm-82kg). He played most recently at Panteras. In 12 LPB games he was league's fourth best scorer with impressive 17.9ppg and recorded 6.3rpg, 2.5apg and 1.9spg (in top 4) last season. Grant helped them to make it to the semifinals. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Panamanian LPB 1st Team. He also played for Angeles in Mexican LNBP where in 16 games he was league's fourth best scorer with 9.3ppg and averaged 3.6rpg and 1.1spg (in top 4).
He represented Panama at the Central American Games in Managua (Nicaragua) four years ago.
Grant has played previously professionally in Panama (Rio Abajo and Correcaminos) and El Salvador (Isidro Metapan).
Grant played in the final of Panamanian CBS in 2011.
