Liliana Angulo (ex Punto R.) joins Correcaminos

Correcaminos de Colon (LPB) added to their roster 31-year old Ecuadorian ex-international power forward Liliana Angulo (183cm-82kg) for new 2021-22 season. Angulo played last summer at Punto Rojo LR in Ecuadorian Liga Desarrollo. In 14 games she was the best scorer with 14.2ppg and averaged 7.6rpg, 2.1apg and 2.4spg (in top 5). She helped them to win the Liga Femenina title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. A very impressive year as she was named to Latinbasket.com All-Ecuadorian Liga Desarrollo Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times).
Angulo also represented Ecuador at the South American Championships in Barquisimeto (Venezuela) five years ago. Her stats at that event were 4 games: 6.8ppg, 3.8rpg, FGP: 62.5%, FT: 77.8%.
She has played also professionally in Ecuador (Quevedo, Santa Maria, Juvenil, Leones and Deportivo Quito), El Salvador (FAS) and Peru (BCT Trujillo).
