LPB Round 19: Halcones beat Panteras in a derby game

The Regular Season in LPB is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds. Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Panama City: Halcones (#2) and Panteras (#5). Halcones (12-3) won against visiting Panteras (8-7) 77-73. They outrebounded Panteras 54-33 including a 17-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Panteras helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Naturalized Chilean guard Eugenio Luzcando (187-95, college: Idaho St.) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
