Caballos keep Montenegro for another season

Caballos de Cocle Aguadulce (LPB) re-signed 24-year old 191cm shooting guard Jose Montenegro. Montenegro played there last season. He missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Montenegro represented Panama at the Central American Games in Managua (Nicaragua) five years ago. Montenegro's team won Gold.
He has played previously professionally in Nicaragua (Jass). His team also won Panamanian LPB Regular Season in 2018 and 2020.
Among many awards he received Latinbasket.com All-Panamanian LPB Most Improved Player of the Year award in 2021.
