Halcones land Federico Barrera

Newly promoted Halcones de San Miguel (LPB) tabbed experienced 36-year old 206cm center Federico Barrera. The last time (2021) he played at Panteras in Panamanian LPB league. Barrera missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
He was a member of Panamanian U22 National Team back in 2003.
Barrera has played previously professionally also in Costa Rica (Limon Sharks and Perez Zeledon) and Panama (Magnates, Grillos, Toros, Atletico).
It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Halcones.
Let's have closer look into His outlook: Good physical specimen with broad shoulders and athletic frame. Is not a polished player but has big hands and natural strength. Once he develops a more consistent work ethic; he could become a solid center.
