Shedden's 27 points and 8 rebounds give him Player of the Week award

26-year old swingman Daniel Shedden (191-G/F-1996) had an amazing evening in the last round for Lobos and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
He had the game-high 27 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for Lobos in his team's victory, helping them to beat Universitarios (#6, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 72-60. Lobos maintains the 3rd position in Panamanian league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Lobos won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Shedden had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Lobos' top player in his first season with the team. Montana State University Billings graduate has very impressive stats this year. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Alejandro is a newcomer at Halcones and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.0ppg (#3). He also registered 6.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Halcones' star - swingman Edward Lopez (190-G/F-2001). Lopez scored 25 points. He was another key player of Halcones, helping his team with a 77-70 win against Centinelas (#5, 0-1). Halcones has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Lopez also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Lopez as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be another team's leader.
