Liga WPlay 2023-II - Pablo Rivas (ex Puerto Varas) joins Motilones

Motilones del Norte (Liga Wplay) added to their roster 28-year old Panamanian forward Pablo Rivas (198cm-95kg-1994, college: NCCU) for new 2024 season. Rivas played last season at Club Deportes Puerto Varas in Chilean LNB league. In 11 games he had 11.2ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.1spg.
He is quite experienced player. Rivas' career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Rivas tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Libertad), Brazil (Cerrado), France, Spain (Vic), Uruguay (Capitol), El Salvador (Aguila), Nicaragua (Leon) and Panama (Dragones). His team won MEAC Tournament in 2017 and 2018.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-El Salvador Liga Mayor Torneo Clausura Honorable Mention in 2022.
Rivas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
He graduated from North Carolina Central University in 2018 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player. Rivas played also for Sheridan College for 2 years.
