Liga WPlay 2024 - Titanes ink Pablo Rivas

Titanes de Barranquilla (Liga WPlay) agreed terms with 29-year old Panamanian forward Pablo Rivas (198cm-95kg-1994, college: NCCU) for upcoming 2024 season. Rivas played last summer at Motilones. In 14 Liga Wplay games in Colombia he was league's fourth best scorer with impressive 17.6ppg and averaged 7.2rpg (#4 in the league) and 1.2spg. 2023-23 was a great season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB Clausura Second Team.
He is quite experienced player. Rivas has played in nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Libertad), Brazil (Cerrado), Chile (Puerto Varas), France, Spain (Vic), Uruguay (Capitol), El Salvador (Aguila), Nicaragua (UNAN de Leon) and Panama (Dragones). His team won MEAC Tournament in 2017 and 2018.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-El Salvador Liga Mayor Torneo Clausura Honorable Mention in 2022.
Rivas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
He graduated from North Carolina Central University in 2018 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player. Rivas played also for Sheridan College for 2 years.
