SPB 2025 - Greg Foster (ex Toros) is a newcomer at Llaneros

Greg Foster

Llaneros de Guarico (SPB) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 35-year old American 190cm point guard Greg Foster (college: SVSU) for season 2025. Foster played recently at Toros in Panamanian LPB league. In two games he recorded 13.5ppg, 1.0rpg, 5.5apg and 1.5spg last season.
In 2015 (three years after his graduation) Halifax Hurricanes voted him as fourth overall pick in NBL Canada draft.
He graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2012 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
Foster is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America) in thirteen different countries. He has played previously professionally in Colombia (Storm), Germany (Lions), Mexico (Halcones UV Xalapa and Gallos de Aguascalientes), Saudi Arabia (Al Ansar), Venezuela (Cocodrilos and Bucaneros), Dominican Republic (Centro, San Lazaro, Cupes, Parque Hostos and Indios), TBL (California SK and Medora T.), Mali (Stade), Libya (Al Ittihad Tri), NBA G League (Indiana Mad Ants), CBA (Ft.Wayne F.), ABA (Indy Naptown AS) and The Basketball Tournament (Purple Fosterarts).
Among many awards Foster's team won Panamanian LPB Regular Season in 2024. He was also selected to USBasket.com All-TBL Newcomer of the Year back in 2022.
It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Llaneros.
