Quatarrius Wilson gets MVP of the Week award for Paraguayan LNB (by Hoops Agents)

American Quatarrius Wilson (203-C/F-1996) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Olimpia Kings and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 30-year old had the game-high 25 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for Olimpia K. in his team's victory, helping them to crush San Alfonso (#7, 1-3) with 18-point margin 102-84. Olimpia K. maintains the 3rd position in Paraguayan LNB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Olimpia K. will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Wilson had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Olimpia K.'s top player in his first season with the team. Southeast Missouri State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Wilson is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 9.5rpg), assists (6th best: 4.0apg) and averages solid 68.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Argentinian Juan Luis Abeiro (200-C/F-1988) of Felix Perez Cardozo Asuncion. Abeiro impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Felix Perez lost that game 75-93 to San Jose (4-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Abeiro is a newcomer at Felix Perez and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.0ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 10.3rpg and 4.0apg.

The third best performed player last round was Chilean Diego Silva (186-PG-1993) of second-ranked Colonias Gold. Silva scored 21 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He was a key player of Colonias, leading his team to a 83-56 easy win against Capiata (#8, 0-4). Colonias needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Silva has a great season in Paraguay. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.5ppg (best scorer) and assists with 3.3apg (5th best).
