Here is the weekly review of the top performing Paraguayan players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former U17 international Rodrigo Vallejos (96, currently plays in Argentina). He managed to help San Martin Corrientes in a victory against the league outsider Comunicaciones (3-10) crushing them 108-76 in the Argentinian LigaA in Friday night's game. Vallejos scored only 3 points in 2 minutes on the court. San Martin Corrientes (6-2) is placed sixth in the LigaA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Vallejos averages: 2.0ppg in three games he played so far. He played for the Paraguayan U17 national team five years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to an international forward Gabriel Peralta (201-95, currently plays in Argentina). Peralta contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Gimnasia LP (9-11) crushing them 90-43 in the Argentinian TNA (second division) last Monday. He recorded 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Atenas de Carmen de Patagones (9-10) is placed eighth in South group. It's Peralta's first season with the team. Peralta's overall stats this year are: 5.6ppg, 3.0rpg, 2FGP: 58.6%(34-58), 3FGP: 27.3% and FT: 73.9%. He is in the roster of the Paraguayan senior national team.

   #3. The Paraguayan player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Alejandro Peralta (195-91, currently plays in Argentina). Peralta contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Gimnasia LP (9-11) 88-73 in the Argentinian TNA (second division) on Wednesday night. He scored 5 points in 19 minutes. Deportivo Viedma Rio Negro (15-4) is placed second in South group. This year Peralta's overall stats are: 5.1ppg, 3.7rpg, 2FGP: 55.9%(19-34), 3FGP: 16.7% and FT: 33.3% in nine games. Ex-Cerro Porteno Asuncion player is also a member of the Paraguayan senior national team.

   #4. An experienced forward Jose Fabio (200-77, currently plays in Argentina). He could not help Obera TC (14-9) to beat Deportivo Norte (11-9). Fabio scored only 4 points. The second-placed Obera TC (14-9) was defeated 85-79 on the road by the lower-ranked Deportivo Norte (#6) in the North group. Fabio's total stats this season are: 1.9ppg and 2.6rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Paraguayan and Argentinian. Fabio used to play for the Paraguayan national team back in 2016.

Our National Paraguayan Senior Team remains at the ELITE level after winning two important games against Guyana and Bolivia, losing only against Colombia. This Americup qualifier for CHINA 2019 WORLD CUP was played among the eight teams that did not qualified for the second round of the qualifiers.
