Metropolitan League Round 3 (Second Stage): San Jose prevail against Olimpia - May 21, 2018

Metropolitan League is at the halfway of the Second Stage and there are still another 3 rounds left. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Round 3 most important game was a defeat of Luqueno (2-1). They were defeated by Felix Perez (2-1) 74-68 on Saturday night. Luqueno will play next round against strong Campo Alto trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Felix Perez will try to continue on its current victory against Ciudad Nueva on the road.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Olimpia (2-1) in Asuncion. Hosts were edged by San Jose (3-0) 87-84. San Jose's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Asuncion to the arena Sol de America.
Quite upsetting was Libertad's (#3) 20-point home defeat in a game versus Sol de America who smashed hosts Sol de America's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Asuncion San Jose.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Olimpia (2-1) in Asuncion. Hosts were edged by San Jose (3-0) 87-84. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 24-19. But Olimpia won second period 26-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
