SAN JOSE wins its 10th METRO TITLE BY W.O - Dec 18, 2018

A very sad ending had th 2018 CLAUSURA METRO LEAGUE.
The Olimpia Kings did not show up to the 5th game arguing the CPB did not give
the neccesary sports security conditions to play the game.
The Kings publishe through all their media that the presence of uruguayan referees for games
4th and 5th was not consulted with them.
However they were very confortable and secure with the argentinians present ate the 3 previous games.
Very tense were the previous days of the 5th game, nobody new what was going to happen until few minutes before the
5th game. Once there at the gym we saw what Olimpia announced thwy would do, which was not attending to the game.

It was a shocking atmosphere and a very dissapointing way of ending a League. San Jose won by WO, we all thought Olimpia woul show up until last minute
but that never happened. Amazingly San Jose people or fans still celebrated very emotionally the new Championship as if they had won on court.

It was evident the tense relationships among both clubs , the FINAL SERIES was 2-2. Very tied among both teams that were
playing better when they played away. Both teams won their away games , and lost their home games.

Scott Rogers was elected MVP. The authorities of the CPB handed out the different awards and cups at the Champion Ceremony
right after the uruguayan referees declared WO to Olimpia.
