Sol de America lands Jermont Horton, ex CDU Concepcion- June 19, 2019
POSTED BY: Francisco Vega
Among other achievements he received Eurobasket.com All-Swedish Basketligan 2nd Team award back in 2014. Horton is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in ten different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Horton has played previously professionally in Finland (KTP Basket and Kauhajoki), France (ADA Blois and Charleville Mezieres), Germany (Mitteldeutscher BC), Kosovo, Kuwait, Luxembourg (Sparta and Basket Esch), Romania (Craiova), Slovakia (Inter Bratislava), Turkey (Baskent Genclik) and Sweden (Norrkoping Dolphins). Horton attended State Un.of N.Jersey Rutgers-Newark until 2007 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball. Let's have closer look into His outlook: At 6-foot-6, Jermont is quick and versatile. He is a consistent 3-point threat and possesses the ability to run the point, play the 2, or fill in at the 3 position when needed. Jermont possesses an outstanding perimeter game which includes a perfect jump shot and the ability to dribble as well as most point guards. This comes from the fact that when he entered college he was 6'1 and when he graduated he was 6'6. An extremely talented basketball player.
