Sol de America Asuncion adds Monroe to their roster, ex S-Birds

Sol de America Asuncion (Metropolitan League) added to their roster 30-year old American power forward Jacinta Monroe (196-74kg-88, college: FSU). She played last season at S-Birds in South Korean WKBL.
In 2010 Monroe was drafted by Washington Mystics (WNBA) in first round (6th overall).
The former Florida State University standoutis in her tenth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Monroe's team made it to the Russian PBL Semifinals in 2018. She was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Russian PBL Honorable Mention in 2018.
Monroe is quite experienced player. Thanks to her pro career she managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in ten different countries. Monroe has played previously professionally in China (Beijing Great Wall), France (Hainaut and Flammes), Latvia, Puerto Rico (Atenienses), Spain (Mann Filter and Argon Uni Girona), Turkey (Botas, Cankaya and Canik Belediye), WNBA (Seattle Storm), Russia (Enisey Krasnoyarsk), Paraguay (Olimpia Asuncion) and Czech Republic (Basketball Nymburk).
