The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Paranaense on the court of Colonias G. on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Colonias G. 80-66. Strangely Paranaense outrebounded Colonias G. 48-32 including a 38-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. 28 personal fouls committed by Paranaense helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Nicolas Hepp who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Sebastian Konrad contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Cristhian Rodas answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for Paranaense. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International forward Jorge Sequera (194-88) stepped up and scored 31 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Diego Bareiro chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Sebastian Galarza (185-1) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
