Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Libertad A. as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group B. Libertad A. smashed 4th ranked San Alfonso in Asuncion 112-61. Libertad A. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to San Alfonso's 32. Libertad A. forced 23 San Alfonso turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by San Alfonso's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Jorge Sequera (194-88) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Diego Lesme (203-95) who added 19 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side Jacky Wo-lin responded with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Olimpia K. San Alfonso at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. San Alfonso will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Libertad A. will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Olimpia K. at home.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Asuncion. Top-ranked host San Jose (2-0) smashed 3rd ranked Paranaense (1-2) 111-77. The winners were led by Argentinian forward Franco Benitez (199-94) who scored that evening 31 points and 9 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and Sebastian Picton supported him with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) by Karls Godans did not help to save the game for Paranaense. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. San Jose maintains first position in Group A with 2-0 record. Paranaense at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
