The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Colonias G. as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group A. Colonias G. defeated 4th ranked Sol de America at home 74-69. 25 personal fouls committed by Sol de America helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Argentinian Nelson Peralta (195-92) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 7 rebounds. International Nicolas Tischler (-0) contributed with 8 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Mauricio Vairoletto replied with 23 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for Sol de America. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Colonias G. have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Sol de America at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Sol de America will play next round against strong Paranaense trying to get back on the winning streak. Colonias G. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.

Juan Poison scored 15 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Edgar Riveros chipped in 19 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Ronny Cruz with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olimpia K. maintains second position in Group B with 3-1 record having just one point less than leader Libertad A. San Alfonso at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Olimpia K. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. San Alfonso will play at home against Ciudad N. (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
