San Jose - Paranaense 108-70 The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Paranaense in Asuncion on Thursday night. Visitors were rolled over by San Jose 108-70. San Jose dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Paranaense's 38. They outrebounded Paranaense 48-31 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. San Jose looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Paranaense's players. The former international guard Leandro Ferreira (184-94) stepped up and scored 18 points and 4 assists for the winners and Argentinian forward Sebastian Picton (197-92) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds.
