Victor Ramires gets MVP of the Week award for Paraguayan LNB (by Hoops Agents)

Victor Ramires put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader Mariscal E. and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The had a double-double of 21 points and eleven rebounds, while his team beat Felix Perez (#3, 1-1) 68-63. It allowed Mariscal E. to consolidate first place in the Paraguayan LNB. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Mariscal E. won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Ramires just recently signed at Mariscal E. and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Ramires has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 20.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 10.0rpg) and averages solid 58.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Jefferson Arguello of Colonias G.. Arguello impressed basketball fans with 9 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Colonias G. to another comfortable win outscoring Sol de America (0-2) 98-52. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Arguello is one of the most experienced players at Colonias G. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Federico Ferreira of Felix Perez (#3). Ferreira showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, nine rebounds and four assists in the last round. Despite Ferreira's great performance Felix Perez lost 63-68 to #1 ranked Mariscal E.. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Felix Perez needs is to lose another game like this one.
