Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of San Jose (4-1) in Asuncion on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by Olimpia K. (5-0) 85-76. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of San Jose. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Olimpia K. made 30-of-36 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by San Jose helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of international Rodney Mercado (191-1999) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. The former international guard Javier Martinez (188-1978) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Argentinian forward Franco Benitez (199-1994) replied with 18 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) for San Jose. Undefeated Olimpia K. have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-0 record. Defending champion San Jose keeps the second place with one game lost.
Another interesting game for Colonias G. (2-3) which played in Filadelfia against Mariscal E. (1-4). Fourth ranked Colonias G. had an easy win 73-60. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian point guard Juan Pablo Corbalan (185-1998) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Nestor Lopez who added 15 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Colonias G.'s coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Hugo DaCosta responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Colonias G. maintains fourth position with 2-3 record. Mariscal E. at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost.
